last post
Well, this is my last post on this blog. I'm going to be in Texas this weekend and probably won't have time to post. The class has been fun, I can't believe that it's almost over. Just a few more days and onemore assignment and I'll be done. Of course, I'll still have 4 more weeks of French and 4 weeks of World Lit, but then I'll have a break before Fall semester starts. I'm taking 16 credits so it will be a busy time. But, on the bright side, at the end of that, Jason will be coming home for a little while before he goes to his next job. Yay! Time is going by quickly and it's a good thing.

more of life
Nothing really new has happened. Work was actually good today, except for the fact that I was an hour late getting off from my shift. We had a store meeting this morning at 6am. There's this contest where the different stores can earn money by getting good customer comments, and our store won so 10 associates were given $500 each. The store associates votes on who gets the cash and they actually voted for me! I was surprised because it doesn't seem like people like me very much there, and I never expected to get it. So, that was a nice little feather in my cap.
Otherwise, I'm just trying to keep up with school, work, and family. It's not always easy.

c'est la vie
Well, school is going well. I'm already down to my last week of Advanced Comp, and French is nearly half over. I got a 94 on our first test, so I'm pretty happy. My first test usually sets my pattern for the class, so I should do well.
Work is crazy. I can hardly stand going there and sometimes I want to cry just thinking about going there. People can be so mean! I swear, everyone should be required to work retail for at least a month of their life so they understand what it's like to work in a position like that. Then maybe people would have a little bit more respect, or just common courtesy. I got called racist for saying "y'all" to a guy the other day. I don't even really understand what happened, he just started yelling at me for being disrespectful.
Other than that? Well, Jason doesn't get to come to Texas when I'm there. He asked for just a couple days but they said no. And, now they're talking about transfering him to a boat on the east coast so it will be even harder to see him. Things are just so stressful right now. School isn't, but work and my personal life are. On top of it all, I've been getting sick for several weeks now but I won't actually come down with anything. I'd just like to get sick and get it over with. I guess maybe I'm just worn out. Hopefully I'll feel better after the weekend in Texas. Just another week and I'll be heading out there! I can't wait.!

same old stuff
There's really nothing new going on. I had a French test yesterday that I think I did well on. It didn't seem that hard. Other than that, I'm working on another paper for Advanced Comp and starting my web page. I'm not so sure about that. It seems like it's a lot to do, just in a week. Especially when I have to start my research paper next week, and I'm working 35 hours. I'm not sure how much time I'm going to have to get everything done.
Anyway, work is fine. It's stressful and I'm working more hours than I'd like to with school going on, but hopefully that will get better.
I have 4 days off at the end of the month so I'm going to go visit my in-laws. I'm hoping that Jason will be able to come, too. It would be so good to see him, especially since I don't know when he'll make it home again, or when I'll be able to make it out there.
Guess that's all for now. I slept really late this morning so I need to get started on my papers.

back to school
This is my first week back in school and I'm glad. I love school and it's good to be busy again. What with Home Depot not being the best place to work, Jason being in Mississippi and my family and friends 2,000 miles away, there's not much that I have around that I really love.
There is, of course, my kids. It's so nice to come home to their furry faces every day and have someone be glad to see me. True, they all get a little needy sometimes and having 6 furry little bodies crawling around everywhere can make me crazy sometimes. Not to mention the fact that I can't wear black without instantly being covered in fur. But, they're great and I wouldn't trade them for anything. Today, I cut the grass and the dogs were so excited to have it short that they were running in circles just because they could.
